well, that is the look I was aiming for anyway. For this, I adhered text to cs with mod podge to preserve the text and then used gesso over it for some tooth. Then I stamped my flowers and masked them while I watercolored, sponged, and embossed the bg. I just tapped the damask stamp onto embossing pad so none of medallions are complete. then colored flowers with markers. when I was cleaning off some of embossing, the red smeared a little...I didn't add a senti yet as I don't know what I'll use this for.

Don't feel put off about the masking fluid when you can make a wonderful design like this with alternate techniques. Love all the textural interest and colour in this card. You rocked this challenge.
