This is my card for this week's Mix-Ability (MIX5) Challenge. The challenge is Masquerade - use a masking technique.
Here is how I created my background:
I tore the edges of two long Post-it notes and applied them to the center of my card (diagonally). Stamp Chickenwire CAC with Clearsnap Butterscotch Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink.
Before removing the mask, sponge edges with Clearsnap Chestnut Roan Colorbox Fluid Chalk ink.

When I first saw this card I was wondering where the masking was, lol. Now I see it! Very clever and very well executed. Love the extra detail with the white dots on the butterfly and the sentiment too.
