These are stamps I designed for Impression Obsession - I stamped the Daisy Dressform first on watercolor paper, then stenciled a harlequin background (stencil by Crafter's Workshop) around the image using an oil-based pencil. When I rubbed distress ink over the panel, the pencil resisted the ink and the pattern shows through. I sponged the panel and watercolored the dressform with reinkers, then layered it onto my card. I wanted a vintage feel with lots of texture - I love this color combo too!

Thanks for the inspiration of this gorgeous design, Dina!! I love your gorgeous dress form image. It is beautifully unique from others I have seen and so pretty with your pencil resist background!

What a super vintage look. I see all these pretty AND functional dress-makers dummy stamps, and I wonder why my real one is so purely functional that I keep her dressed
It was such a coincidence to see your wonderful tutorial this week, Dina - I only discovered last week that my pencils would act as a resist to distress inks. It's a shame I only have a box of 24, kind of limits my colouring. The 48 box was never in stock while I worked in the distributors and after I'd decided to buy it!!

Very special and how wonderful you designed the image. You have some very cool techniques on here and you are such an innovator. Thanks for all you do!
