I made this card to celebrate Ways To Use It's Eight Year Anniversary. "...The challenge is to make a card in the color purple family , and you can use any other items from above (see link list above) on your card..."
Square dies were used to emboss the cardstock, without cutting, to give the image a little frame. I used a spectrum dye pad to color the image and then added a little Copic coloring on the butterflies and a clear Spica pen along the stems of the meadow grasses. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and embossed it with silver e.p.
I usually don't do such vivid colors for a sympathy card but purple seems a perfect color to me for a sympathy card. The image may be a bit brighter from editing than the actual card because it looks softer in real life.
