I rarely use purples in my card making, but this was a fun card to make. Luckily me DIL gave me a pack of purple patterned papers for Christmas!
I love the rich colors in this card. My mom loves mauves and purples, so this one is for her birthday.
Happy 8th Anniversary, WT Challenge! I'm glad to be able to play along this week.
I am also going to enter this in the 1st LOVEFEST challenge. L for layers and lilac, O for ovals, V for vintage (looking), E for embossing (the purple panel)

Paper is certainly a great way to use colours that are out of our comfort zones - that's the way I went too. That's a very pretty stamp - never seen it before. I love the shading and dots on the scalloped layer.
