WOW..this site sure had a personal connection for me. My grandnephew is autistic. I sure didn't know much about it 8 years ago but I am well versed today. I was inspired by this autism ribbon pin and by this window pin. If you're wondering about the puzzle pieces they represent "the mystery and complexity of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and since every puzzle piece is different in some way, a puzzle piece accurately represents the diversity of the individuals affected." I have learned to think outside the box, get rid of normal expectations, and to have a lot of patience. As it happens my pal Aidan is having a sleepover tonight with Aunt Pol...he loves hanging out with me **sigh*** Oh and two more things, I choose the word "Imagine" because he is very imaginative and orange is his favorite color ;)

I thought of you and your wonderful window cut dies when I saw that section of pins! How AWESOME that you made this very personal card featuring Aidan and how his Autism is a part of your lives! That little boy in the window REALLY draws you in!!! Love the extra bright colors!!! It kinda shows it is not all gloom and doom as well as being Aidans favorites! FABULOUS card Pol!!!

A very cute card and how sweet that it was made in honor of Aidan. He sounds like a special little guy. I am liking the bright colors, this past week, the weather here has been gloomy, but today we have sunshine to match your card with the sunshiny colors. TFS.

Bless your heart. You are a wonderful aunt. And I envy you because I'm not an aunt and never will be (except to furries). Your card is a wonderful tribute to Aidan. I love that name, by the way.

How cute! Love the child theme ... great sentiment, as there is no limit to how far each child can go!
