I recently learned the wax resist technique. The green die cut piece behind the flower uses this technique. The flower is made from a SU punch.
I used a dauber to apply a darker shade of ink around the petals. I rolled the edges around a pencil to give it some demention. The center is something I purchased ages ago just because I thought it was pretty. Finally found a use for it!

Your flower is fabulous. I absolutely love the colour and the beautiful background paper you used. You did a great job on the wax paper resist too. Haven't tried that one yet but I think I will. Thanks for the inspiration.
