this card was made for 2 challenges, first of all for todays IC376 which we were to get inspiration from the Limoges box collector... what a gorgeous site this is... I could make soooo many cards from here... I finally chose this Beauchamp Limoges.
the second challenge is for the QFTD152 challenge whereby Mary (Octoberbabe) is enjoying her reign. congratulations Mary and enjoy it..I finally chose Marys element card seen here.. I used the same ef for the bg and kept the circle effect but with different image and placed it in centre of the card instead of on side.. (this was at my DH suggestion)... I kept the happy birthday theme but placed it at the bottom instead of on side... I also added pearls and stickles...for the ladybug, I stamped it, coloured it and then cut it out and placed on image... I then had to draw the antennae and legs...
Thanks for taking a peek... Hope you like it...

Hi there Ladybug91743!!!!!! I saw in an earlier post your name might be Marie, but didn't want to call you that just in case that really wasn't your name ! I love your version of my elements card. You know, when I first made that card, I had NEVER EVER cut off part of a circle, which was REALLY hard for me. I did like the end results, but by not cutting off part of the circle on your card was really what I wanted to do in the beginning. So now I know how it would look!! I love your flourishes of butterflies and I didn't miss the little ladybug either! We are partieal to ladybugs in my family because my DGD is Chinese and they are lucky in China. Thank you so much for playing along this week. Hugs!!

White-on-white cards always look so pretty and elegant. Yours is no exception, and the colorful butterflies really are spotlighted against all that white. A beautiful card!

Beautiful b'day card, Marie-Alice. Love the white bg with all the embossing and delicate die cut as the backdrop for your pretty butterflies....each one a different color.....and the sweet ladybug for good luck.
