This week the Queen for the Day is Mary (Octoberbabe)! What a wonderful gal!!! Mary is such a sweetheart and has made me laugh many times! What a pleasure to get to know her thru SCS! She was on the CAS design team for fall and I always admired her wonderful cards! (I LOVE her CUTIE cards too!!!) I really was torn, whether to make a CAS card or a cutie card. But, I decided, since CAS is not my strong suit, I would use this Fantastic CAS card for inspiration:
I only changed the colors and moved the sentiment a little higher. I like that this type of card is great for so many occasions.
Mary, I appreciate all the kindness you have shown me thur your comments and messages and even cards to me! I love your cutie cards, I think I will have to come back and do one of those too! Enjoy your week!

Oh Kathleen...............you are just too kind and super sweet to boot!!!! Thanks for honoring me today. I really like what you did with this card. The pastel colors are so "spring-y" and Lord only knows we are more than ready for spring in Wisconsin!! I just love the look of that single bloom and that is what CAS is all about. We are our own worse critics, but you should do more CAS because you are better than you give yourself credit for. Hugs and more hugs my friend!!

Did you surprise yourself by creating a cas card, Kathleen? I looks amazing, I must admit! I love how the overstamped colors create new colors and the single flower just states so much. Sometimes less is really more, and in this case it's true~
