I need blue - we have just had grey sky so much. I was determined to fit some blue on my card today.
A2 base, yellow layer and lacy border is BG Picadilly. Blue layer is BG Lily Kate. I embossed it with Sizziz Retro Circles and sanded. Good thing I was going for a distress look because no way could I have trimmed it down and kept perfectly straight edges - between the embossing and the sanding it was pretty brittle. I used an un-embossed trimming to stamp my butterfly, sponging some deeper blue round the edges and adding Liquid Pearls. Die-namics Fax Crochet has an edging of distressed green card.
For the image layer I gessoed some book paper, then stamped Oh So Lovely, cut with Mega Ovals and coloured with H2Os and distress inks, and sponged with distress inks.
