Would you believe I have not a single Snowpeep stamp? Can we say, shopping opportunity??? I know, I could have downloaded a new cold digital image, but in the spirit of using what I have, I went with my 'shovel boy' photo stamp from Oxford Impressions Winter Snow unmounted sheet group.
And then I had to send the boy outside to have some fun building said snowpeep. "OH, HaPpy DaY~o" The snowy background is from Stamp Francisco. First I stamped boy, masked him and laid the background over the boy. I made the snow with Martha's snow glitter. Dug out some years old felt snowflakes, got to use the WISH ticket along with the Wordsworth 'oh happy day' sentiment. Lastly, I upcycled acetate packaging with Tim Holtz'
Snowflakes on the edge die. Mounted on some Stampin' Up 2007 in color...is it old enough to be in again???
Thanks Cathy for the creative challenge, I promise to bring a snowpeep to the next snow day. Have a wonderful Thursday out there, all!

I know this little guy from OI....this is so adorable the way you have him with his shovel at the ready...I'm sure he is just about to start making his snowpeep! Love the little artistic accents in the corner...fabulous card Susan!

Ha! I have some of those felt snowflakes somewhere. Everything is lost in "somewhere" around here. I love your little boy and your VERY creative card. Recycling acetate is a great idea too.

I really like the boy. I really like all the parts, especially that you have a story to tell with your cards. It may be a shopping opportunity, but with your imagination, surely not necessary! Thanks for another fun sharing!

Your cards are SO creative, Susan....a story within a card. Love the "outdoor" snowy scene with glistening snow and the retro boy.....maybe out to earn a little extra $ shoveling sidewalks.

funny how these challenges can point out 'holes' in your stamp collection....however....they also make us get creative, as you did here....fab work
and....I am still collecting sentiments, but have NOT been good about getting them into the journal.....always too little time to do it all....but I do have good intentions...lol
