Here is my card for today's CAS challenge = to case one of Gail's (mamaxsix) cards. I chose this beautiful CAS card Twined Thoughts
My poppies are from "Pleasant Poppies" backgrounder. Coloured with Stampin Up and Tombow markers. Stamped a script backgrounder and Sanded backgrounder overtop using close to cocoa ink. Sponged more mustard, really rust and riding hood red around the outside of the poppies. Tore the edges, sponged on close to cocoa and black ink to give it the faux burnt edge. Tore a piece of cork for the panel underneath, sponged edges. Used a piece of button designer dp - placed over Kraft cardstock. Made the sentiment oval. Assembled card. Tied on the twine.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs..Pat

So pretty, Pat! I love the vibrant red poppies and torn panels! The cork really added texture and the faux burned edges are wonderful--I had to read to see if it was real!
