Another week that I have the privilege of being a guest with the wonderful Our Daily Bread Team. The challenge this week is to make a project for a child - and the sweet Noah's Ark set was just perfect.
All the details of the challenge, and the DT cards can be found on the Our Daily Bread blog HERE.
I like interactive cards for kids, so I made a pop-up inside, and on the front the elephant's trunk can me moved around.
FRONT:
This is an A2 card. I used the same two sets on the front - Noah's Ark set for the sentiment, and a flower from Be Joyful stamped around it with Versafine Smokey Grey. It was stamped on the same Bazzill card as the base, and cut with Labels 4. I used some old Provocraft paper and stitched round it before adding it to the base.
The monkey is made with a bunch of different sizes of circle punches, an oval for the body and a spiral for his tail.
The elephant is hear punches for the ears, circles for the head and eyes, and the trunk is hand-cut and fastened on with a brad. Both animals have wobbly eyes, and I added a couple of punched butterflies.

Utterly adorable, I LOVE the punched animals! One of my favorite children's poems, I have it in one of my daughter's prayer books we used to read together.
