This is my guest bedroom and I decided to stamp the walls with RIW - my MIL stays in this room when she visits and her name is Rose! I think she will love it.

This is beautiful! Did you use a craft pad or the classic? I want to do butterflies in my daughter's room and I'm nervous about using acrylic paint because I don't want to ruin my stamps.

Thanks for the nice comments - I actually used the regular classic pads. The only thing I did different than if it were on cardstock is the first big RIW stamp for the background I did twice and the rest was just like normal. It only took about an hour. I had a workshop last night and had the girls look at it and they just hooted and hollared over it!

Hi Dawn,
I love it, it looks great. I have done RIW as well, but I used acrylic inks. I just cleaned them frequently inbetween as they tend to dry rather quickly and didn't want paint drying up in all the little nooks and crannies.
Quick question, how did you finish the wall so that you can wash over the stamping? I have a customer who would like to stamp on her walls and would love to pass on any tips you may have.
thank you,
Marcia
