When looking at Tim Holtz' December 2012 Tags, I loved the snowy scene. So, I used everything Tim to create a scene that was loved. The seasonal paper pad featured vintage Christmas scenes which reminded me of so many things from my childhood. I used picket fence stain to give the hazy look. The car was the star which was a Tim die (jalopy) and those adorable brush trees which I sprayed with Dyan Reaveley spray inks. This card was made for my Daddy (yes, I still call him Daddy). The title is A Man's Work is Never Done. The panels of the car was metal foil tape embossed with a folder and covered with black paint dabber wiped away. I have Richele Christensen from Sizzix Blog to thank for the panel idea. The black paint dabber was also used to color the grunge jalopy which was covered with glossy accents. The new silver stain was used on some of the car parts. Oh what fun it was to play in the Tim Holtz Ranger way..ay!
