I took a chance and bought this SU background stamp awhile ago. I wasn't sure if it would make a good feature on a card or not, but when I found a tool ef, I knew it would help me make it work.
I stamped the b/g on white card stock and embossed the bottom gray card stock with a tool embossing folder. Added some screw brads, the sentiment which I punched into a tag and added more metal. Finished with a 4-layer baker's twine accent.
Thanks for taking a look. This is for my brother who is in the process of building his house and is a New Year's Baby!
P.S. Thanks Audrey for helping me figure out how to get my photos looking better with the box/light. I think I know the tricks now. You're the best. I'm gonna redo my French card too when I get a chance.

What a fun masculine card this is Pamzi. What guy doesn't like a bunch of tools. My guys have them all stacked up in neat little rows in the garage....lol They do better than me right now, my punches and stuff are everywhere on my table. Your brother will love this. It's superb. Merry Christmas!

Nice work with the Tool Shed! Very manly card, indeed. You always do the masculine cards in a great way. Good staging for that photo, too.

Those nuts and bolts look awesome with the tool stamp and ef, Pam! Plus gray and black are the perfect masculine colors for these tools! Oh, and I have 16 windows upstairs plus a sliding glass door, so I don't ever need artificial lighting! This place screams brightness~ : )

This is a great card. Wish I was so creative. I find it hard to do cards for my DH, and this will go on the list. Don't have screw brads, may have to use some short screws or come up with something else. TFS
