This week the feature stamper is Allison Cope aka thecircleguru. I was not too familiar with her gallery, but wow is it impressive!!! I know I am not the first, but also was so intriqued by this fantastic card: Hello ~ With Wheels On It by thecircleguru at Splitcoaststampers
I used watercolor paper and heat embossed butterflies all over the panel. Then I sprayed the panel with alcohol until it was fairly saturated. I used reinkers, just adding drops here and there and then sprayed more alcohol.
After I dried it with my craft air blower, I realized I like the BACK better than the front! So, this is actually the back. It seems like some of the colors soaked in while others laid more on the surface.
I matted it and used some black glittery cardstock (DCWV) and will send this to my sister-in-law for her birthday next week.
Allison, it was wonderful to look at your beautiful gallery! Thank you so much for taking a peek.

Kathleen, you are a wonderful re-ink artist! At first glance I thought that the colors were pansies and very beautiful ones at that! This is a great art piece to honor today's FS!

I absolutely adore the vibrant color you achieved here, Kathleen - love the fact that you used the BACK of your panel just because you liked it - that's the beauty of cardmaking and creativity - there are no rules!! Love it!

Oh that's funny Kathleen!! I've heard that when using Copics the back can look kinda interesting sometimes - and this must be similar. I love it as well - I can see a bit of the butterflies, but am loving all the bright colors and artful design. Wonderful CASE !!
