For this week's free for all, we're to use newsprint, with extra points for black and white and read (red) all over. Eh. So I threw in a few (NOT 50!) shades of gray.
I used this week's mftwsc sketch.
Can you guess how I got the li'l diva's bg? No? It's a black and white xerox copy of some cork dp.
Mulberry paper makes wonderful, delicate rolled flowers and leaves! I'd discovered a stash deep in my files, and am re-acquainting myself with the stuff. I used it, xyroned to some scrap cs, to make the first layer of the frame.

Adorable image, love the addition of the gray! Thanks for the tip about rolled mulberry. It looks fab!
