I like sketch challenges because they seem to do half the work of planning a card. Then all I need to do is 'fill in the blanks.' LOL! However, you have no idea how difficult it is for me to intentionally place things off kilter on a card. I want everything lined up and straight. So this was a challenge for me, but it worked great for a Thanksgiving card that I needed to make.
The image is one I've had for years, but never inked. The lines separating the leaves are not sharply defined, so I have a hard time seeing where I'm coloring. But I finally got my courage up to color it with colored pencils and OMS. I looked for the papers after I colored the image, so was pleased to find some scraps of dp that matched. I sponged the die cut with two colors while still in the die, and sponged the edges of the sentiment also. The card base is copper cs.
I have so much to be thankful for and will send this to a friend who has blessed me a lot during the past year.

Love your fall design. Your friend will be delighted to receive such a wonderful card.

This was a good day for both of us to ink something for the first time. I love the image.....you will surely use it a lot, now that it's been used!!
