Another glittery card for the November 2012 Creative Crew Challenge. I just LOVE the new Holiday Ornaments Framelits and matching Ornament Keepsakes Stamp Set in the SU Holiday catty. So fun and easy to be creative for the Holidays.
I used the Ornaments Framelit on the Red Glimmer Paper and again on the Champagne Glimmer Paper, which gave me 2 ornaments that I then stacked and cut at about 2/3 down from the top to make 1 red and champagne ornament and 1 champagne and red ornament (which I used on a 2nd card).
I attached the 2 pieces onto a scrap that I cut out with the framelit.
I then added the gold cord and a cut out scallop trim with rhinestones to the ornaments. I attached the scallop edge with Crystal Effects (nothing else worked).
I added the finished ornament to the V Vanilla layer that was embossed with the Holiday Frame EB Folder (Holiday catty) that I had sponge daubered with the new awesome Illuminate watermark Ink Pad for a pretty glimmer to go with the red and champagne glitter.
A simple CCREW1112CF card made into a WOW card with all the glimmer, texture and glitter :-) Wish you could see IRL...
This is one of the make and take projects for my November SU Hostess Club party.
Enjoy and hope you get to play this month with the CCREW Design Team.

Fabulous card, Nancy! I LOVE the ornament in the combination of red and champagne glimmer papers! The scalloped trim and rhinestones are wonderful and what a pretty BG with the embossed oval!

Stunning ornament. Reminds me of some of the glitzy ornaments we used to have on our tree. They were always so fragile and I was so clutzy. Beautiful combo of glimmer paper.
Thanks for sharing such a lovely project.
