A friend and her husband have had a run of bad luck and ill health. I wanted something sassy to cheer her up. I am a bit "queen sized" myself, so I loved this digital image from Mo Manning. I colored it with Copics and Bics (I'm still learning), cut it out with snips, added Stickles glitter glue highlights, and popped it up on dimensional dots. The sentiment is computer generated.
The background paper has kind of a hologram effect with the stars--they change color depending on which way you turn the card! It is wrapping paper that I found years ago and had stashed away a few small pieces for just the right card. I just glued it to white cardstock.
This was very difficult for me to photograph because wanting to capture the glitter and the hologram effect, yet reflections from the foil-type wrapping paper kept getting in the way. The inside of the card says, "You'd have less stress and I would have thinner thighs."
Thanks for looking--and I promise to wave my magic wand in your direction.

There you go again Judy with your funny, funny sense of humor :-) Your friend is going to laugh out loud when she receives your card made with so much humor and LOVE! TFS the description...I can now easily visualize all the glimmer and glitter. LOVE your computer generated sentiments on the front and inside your card too. TFS my friend...

You have proven that you don't have to have all the latest bells and whistles in order to create a card that says so much. This brought a smile to my face and awe at the lovely combination of elements.
