For some reason, I am having a hard time uploading this card... So I am trying it again....
I wanted to try this technique and I also wanted to do a card for my SCS friend - Peggy (jasonw1), as she has been under the weather. I think that she is feeling much better now..
The cardbase is ballet blue, layered with black and the image is stamped on whisper white. I first stamped the image in versamark and then stamped it again in black versafine. I then applied clear embossing powder, removed excess, and heat embossed. Using sponge daubers I created the sky with blue inkpads... I hope that you enjoy and thanks for looking....

Oh Vickie, what a nice treat to find this Thinking of you card in my box! What an AWESOME job you did sponging that sky... I LOVE that bit of sun peaking through!!! How did you get your sky to come out so perfect? Just the chalk and sponge daubers? Your snow on the trees is just beautiful and this whole card is JUST BEAUTIFUL!

Great card - like your sponging, that sun peeking through reminds me of an the early morning cold when it snows and it looks brighter out than it really is.....just lovely.
