I LOVE the challenge to make it shimmer and shine and I just LOVE the glimmer paper and the glimmer brads. This is one of the two cards I did for this challenge. I know I wanted to use the ornament framelits and lots of glimmer paper but still wanted to keep it CAS. (Notice the addition of the paper piercing to give it that extra 'oomph'!) I do love simplicity though and red and silver is just so pretty for Christmas! To get a nice clean cut with the glimmer paper, I find it best to put glimmer side down so the sharpest cut happens through the back of the paper where the plastic is.
