Sabrina (Cook22) challenged us to make some Chicken Soup on our card by including a chicken and spelling S-O-U-P with our elements. Easy enough to come up with a bunch of things starting with the letters, but pulling them together to make a card is a little harder. But I think I did it! I've got 4 chicks, since they're small.
S - Scalloped dp; Strip of dp at bottom; Spellbinders die for reversed Sponged oval
O - Oval, sponged; Odd no. of dots at bottom (11.5); Odd no. of scallops at top
U - Unstamped (no stamps!); sentiment is Under scallop; and another dp is Under the chicks; sentiment says to look Up; 2 of the chicks are looking Up; Unitarian
P - Pink (cs, dp, sponging); polka dots; colored Pencils
I used colored pencils and odorless mineral spirits on the row of chickees. They are a digi image from WinkWinkInk, so no stamps used on this card. I typed this partial quote in MS Word. When I did a search on Hale's name, I learned that he was a (U)nitarian clergyman with an interesting life story and lots of famous relatives.

LOL at the 11.5 dots. You've done brilliantly on this, I love the scallops and polka dots and that inspiring sentiment. The little chicks are sweet, too. I'm all for looking up! One day recently I think people at the entrance to the shopping mall thought I was daft looking up and taking photos of the entrance canopy ~ but on all the big metal bolts a flock of young starling was perching, and I think most people never even saw them.
