I made this card for the House Mouse Challenge #131 - Spooky Sweet & Colourful. There is also a Blog Hop on the House Mouse & Friends site which is always fun. I also made this card to give to my daughter who just loves Halloween. I bought this little guy late last year after seeing cards made with him and I decided I just had to have him for this year. So here is my little carrot mouse going through his candy loot and not seeing the evil witch flying overhead or the spooky house or the hissing black cat.
I colored the image with copic markers. The witch, house, tree & cat are all spellbinders dies. The fence is a MS punch and the brick sidewalk is a spellbinders embossing folder. I used glossy accents on the carrot costume, pumkin, house windows and the cats eyes. The bg was made with a roller and a spectrum ink pad. The moon was masked. I had fun making this card and I hope that everyone enjoys their halloween.
Thanks for looking and have a wonderful evening.

Wow, love the scary scene you created with that little carrot mouse as the centerpiece. Great colors and such a fun card. Your daughter is going to love it. Thanks for joining us at the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge and Blog Hop. Nicely done.

Lynn, this lil guy is so sweet, and I love what you said about him, not noticing the witch and the cat, the symbolism is so rich in that statement! It's just how kids can see pure delight, and not take in what is scary. Your bg is lovely, and that lil mouse is huggable!
