I've been experimenting with ideas for a new card. This is result number one, completed using glossy cardstock with a technique found on Split Coast Stampers. I enjoyed the tutorial on using alcohol inks with blending solution. They used reinkers from Copics. I used Tim Holtz alcohol inks with an aqua brush filled with blending solution. The solution helps to move and dilute the alcohol ink on the paper. Then I stamped with versafine ink and heat dried it a bit. I then inked parts of the stamp and stamped them on leftover pieces from the cut out ornament. The extra cut out pieces were added on top of parts of the original ornament. The rest of the card was assembled by stamping flourishes and adding the punched upper border and ribbon. The border was pop dotted along with the ornament
