This is for Bridget's challenge for HYCCT to be inspired by this Emily Dickenson poem
Hope is the thing with feathers
that perches in the soul
and sings the tune without the words
and never stops at all.
I had a slightly different design in mind, but didn't have as many different hope stamps as I thought! I decided to go with my favorite blue which went along well with the French Flair image. I used a marker on my various stamps and added the words. The main sentiment is conveniently spaced just as it is when I omit the rest of the saying on the stamp! (It is from a set I won from HYCCT last year courtesy of Gourmet Rubber Stamps!) A couple of pearls and an organdy ribbon and I was done.
Hope this card brings encouragement and raises the spirits of whoever receives it!

Beautifully done with creative use of the French Flair bg stamp, Gail - it all portrays the idea of hope soaring in the most LOVELY way!!! Your ribbon and pearls are perfect touches - thanks so much for playing along, I hope you had fun!

That's just beautiful, Gail. I had been thinking of using exactly that stamp, since I just recently got a larger swallow. I love the way you've added all the text into it - and used it in landscape format, too.
