I'm catching up on the weekend's HYCCT Challenges and combined with the technique challenge to add a little dimension. For the HYCCT challenge we were to use 3 dies and focus on a sentiment. I used Flourishes 9 & 11, Beautiful Wings Embosslit and a Circle Nestability for my dies. I used the Tim Holtz Bricked ef with a piece of box board for my bg. I sponged with Riding Hood Red and distressed the edges with the Cutter kit Distressing Tool. I stamped the words from Strength and Hope in soft Suede on Baja Breeze before die cutting the butterfly. Added some sponging in Suede. I also added depth by sponging the edges of the flourish in Garden Green and the edges of the circle with Soft Suede. I added some dimension with the little roses and also popped my butterfly by gluing just the center and bending the wings up. The card base edges are also sponged.

The little roses are perfect for dimension and look so sweet on that wonderful brick wall.
