I LOVE this challenge from Kathy and I *almost* did a lion. But I started thinking about all the forms courage takes, and I decided to focus on something I see a lot. A lot of people who are new to the site or to our challenges say "I'm afraid to upload my card - I'm not as good as the people I see." To which I say - yes you are - maybe you're even better! But maybe a person new to stamping is where their favorite stamper was a year ago. Or maybe what they think is too different or quirky a style is the thing that people most love about their cards!
So I encourage everyone to be courageous about their art. Sharing makes you a BETTER artist, 100% of the time. To illustrate, I stamped my sweet little MFT girl at an angle, didn't stamp her in black, mixed white and vanilla, and broke every "rule" I could think of. She's still cute. And no one will arrest me.
Be brave. Share. I want to see
I used this week's Touch Twin challenge too - to use fall as a theme and make a monochromatic card - I made her all pumpkiny and combined it with dark grey to give that yummy October feel.
TFL and I hope you can come play with us!

Ha, Lydia you can't make a bad card even when you are trying! This is so darling and it's so you, even without vivid colors. The text gave you away. You deliver a wonderful message and I hope everyone reads your comments. We are here to share, support our craft and try to make a little difference in our world. We welcome all styles and all skill levels. The ladies in Texas need our cards and will be happy with all we send. Thanks, Lydia, for your talent and your wisdom today. PS This little girl appears to glow the way you have inked her. So awesome.
