I made this card for Victoria's Strip Please challenge - This is one of my favorite background techniques, and I used scraps that were already out on my desk (one benefit of not cleaning up after myself...!). Stamps are from Unity, and I colored the image using Shinhan watercolor paints. I added some white Flower Soft to the dandelion for just a touch more texture.

Oh I love this image. I can feel the wind just looking at it. Your watercoloring is wonderful and I love the patchwork of dp you created for that lovely background.

I got the word yesterday that a college sorority sister is in her final days of a long, valiant fight with breast cancer. So, while the card is stunningly beautiful, your sentiment screams to me today through tears, every breath is a gift. Thanks for beautifying the gallery and FB with your special works from the heart, Dina. HYCCT aside, this one really touched me today.

Gorgeous. I can almost feel the wind in my hair.

The piecing together that background is awesome! I love the little girl, and the sentiment really hits it on the nail. Beautiful card! Love it!

Dina!!! How beautiful. I love everything here - the background, the paper lace, the fabulous image. I'm guessing it's a dandelion but something about it just reminds me of bog-cotton - the soft look, probably.
Your strips were cleverly done, but the image is what really attracted me to your card. Your water coloring is fabulous. Also, the sentiment is very touching and fits so well with the stamped image. Beautiful card!
