One more creation for the Creative Crew October challenges...this one for the holiday focus challenge: make a halloween, thanksgiving or fall card.
This time of year there are a lot of dry flowers on the plants around here....well, let's call them what they are. They're weeds. But they sure are pretty when the sun shines behind them and there's a bit of dew.
Details:
For the stepped up version, I
...eliminated the crumb cake sponging
...put espresso layers behind the vanilla
...make a multi-loop bow and used a button
I have to admit to using some platinum stickles on some of the flowers. Don't tell anyone, but it sure does make for a dewy look.
To make the mat behind the diecut, I cut the espresso diecut in half and pulled the parts apart to place behind the vanilla diecut. I hope that makes sense. If not, PM me and I'll try to explain it better.
I scored the edges of the vanilla panels at 1/4 and 3/8 inch in from the edges all the way around.
Sponging on the simpler version is done in crumb cake ink.

Wow Diane.....my kind of card...CAS and gorgeous, both of them. I love the simplicity, neutral colors, bit of glitter, pretty ribbon with button, tag.....gosh, just every single detail. Would make a great Make and Take. TFS
