| | Mosaic made by die cutting magnetic sheet with oval die. Apply Modge Podge, then when tacky, apply egg shells that have been cleaned and dried (make sure membrane is fully removed). Coat with Modge Podge and let dry thoroughly. I inked with different colors Marvy Ink Pads, then sprayed a fine mist of water. Dry, then coat with Modge Podge two more times. I then punched a hole in the center of oval and trimmed edges.
I die cut two colored flowers, different shapes, and applied a layer of Modge Podge, let dry. I riveted the flowers to the center.
Prepare base of card with matting a background (I used Rubber Stampede's Geometric Swirl Background) and then mounting magnetic decoration with double sided foam.
I used this for a birthday card with instructions to remove "refrigerator magnet" after birthday to keep as a reminder that I care for her! |
