I made a second card for the challenge, Happy Halloween, Again easy to create in digital as well as paper! My background paper was Tangerine Tango with the Natural Composition Background to give it some texture, but you can use any background stamp to achieve texture. Next, add ¼ inch grosgrain ribbon in a woven pattern.
For my second layer, using the Convention - Curvy Square Punch and Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper -3 I filled the punch, adding the stamps Gate & Happy Halloween from Toxic Treats Stamp set. Stamping the images in Basic Gray and then offset a bit and stamping again with Basic Black to give a faux embossed look, or you can simply heat emboss the images.
Finishing touches: a 1/8th inch Taffeta knot in basic black topped with an antique brad; and a Basic Pearl which I recolored in perfect plum, and placed in the crowÂ’s beak.
