I finally got my Christmas cards started....but this will not be a mailed one, the pine cone sticks out a mile...
I used a copper tone CS, which was almost to stiff, and then some stuff my DD sent me to make the snow, I just used a liquid glue, and sprinkled it on...the stuff flies around like feathers...lol

Jan, such a beautiful bird! That deep red screams with joy! Love the pine images in the bg, and had to giggle when I read that Wendy is sending you stamp supplies now! How delish! You got her started, and now she's enabling on her own! That "snow" she sent to delish! I love how it glistens. Beautiful work my friend. Lymi, hugs....

Jan, this is so stunning, and I love that it would be a great card for a guy! - (Maybe you got DH's Christmas card done early???)
Your cardinal looks regal in that vibrant red, and the pine branches at the top, sprinkled with snow brings the feeling of the crisp winter air. Love how the blue sponging makes him stand out.
So, now Wendy is sending you stuff - how funny, Mama, she must be shopping up a storm, 800 miles away!! Hey, keep it all in the family, right - bless her heart and yours for this beauty of a card!!
