This is a card that I made for a dear friend. I wanted to incorporate the CAS 186 challenge of using fabric and also the FLLCSEPT12 sketch challenge. I have never participated in a Flourishes challenge before, but here goes. Anyway, my friend is a staunch Georgia Tech fan, hence the yellow and black. I cannot begin to tell you how much it pains me to use these colors since we are UGA fans in this household...GO DAWGS! But, she is dear to my heart so yellow and gold it is. I used a little black and white gingham for my fabric. I was really excited about incorporating the fabric on the card so I could enter it in a challenge this week. When I got the card completely done, I realized it was a CAS challenge. I am not sure I would say that this card is completely CAS but....it is what it is. I am just going to have to ask forgiveness to the CAS challenge committee and plead the 'over 40 and I can't remember anything anymore' defense. LOL! Anyway, thanks for two wonderful challenges! Have a wonderful weekend!

Oh my, Katie, what a beauty!! I can't believe you created something so gorgeous with a color combo of yellow and black - absolutely wonderful the way you incorporated the fabric and also how you used the flower images in the corners. Your lucky friend will be delighted!
