FYI...I am a firm believer that there are VERY FEW mistakes that can't be corrected in cardmaking. I was adding the last of my Copic coloring to this image (I don't know about you, but it takes me forever to color, blend and shade!) when this GIGANTIC blob of ink came out of the nib all over the fishing lure (that's supposed to be on Gus' hat) and all over the background of this image.
I tried over and over to erase it with my colorless blender to no avail. Determined not to throw out all of my work, I decided to cut out the image, cut off the fishing lure and re-color the damaged part of the hat.
Then, I just created a new background. The lesson is...don't throw away your mistakes...there's always a way to salvage your card!
This image and phrase from Totally Stampalicious can be used for any occasion. I cut the smallest fish from the dp to hang on the end of Gus' line.
