Hi everyone! I know, lilacs are usually.....lilac, however, I have two lilac trees at home which bloom in white (there is a photo on my blog in case you have never seen white lilacs. Oh, and they smell just as sweet as the other colors!!!)
I have used the new "Lilac" set by Our Daily Bread designs, both on the background panel (stamped in Versamark) and on the focal panel. I decided that the Bleach Technique would be cool on Kraft cardstock, so I stamped the Lilacs twice, cut one out by hand, and the other with an Oval Nestabilities die. After I popped up the cut out image, I used a tiny blob of bleach gel (from a bleach pen) in a plastic lid, then used a slightly wet paintbrush to paint the image with bleach. After a few minutes, it was dry, so I dotted the blossoms with a white gel pen. I can't wait to experiment on different colors of cardstock!
