Love the colors for this challenge as well as the foldover bookmark technique! Super fun and super simple to create. I handstitched the top of the bookmark, colored in the embossed vellum flower with an aqua painter which automatically gave it a nice curl after I cut it out. I colored the stamen with the aqua painter, but it hardly showed, so I glued some yellow seed beads on and love the 3D effect. The button is from my stash of old buttons (it reminds me of a jujube candy, lol). I also embossed the sentiment with iridescent ice ep.

beautiful bookmark and it looks great sporting today's colors-I thought the same thing about your button-funny story- a young couple from our church is having a baby-and that's what he calls his precious little one right now

Thank you everyone for your sweet comments! Mary, what a sweet term of endearment for their precious little one, I love it! Hobbydujour, I made it with the intention of gifting it to one of the teachers I work with as a welcome back gift who is also back in school to get her Ph.D!
