This week's CAS challenge is to use the theme of "Summer Treats". I live in Vancouver, Canada and our summers don't get that hot, so rather than ice cream or popsicles, my idea of a lovely summer treat is tea in the garden with homemade scones or cupcakes.
I used a great Serendipity stamp called Afternoon Tea and coloured the tablecloth in the image in blue and yellow like my own patio tablecloth. The flowery tea pot adds to the summery feel of the image.
I think I'll phone a friend and invite her for tea - I'm inspired to recreate this in real life now!

Absolutely LOVELY! My idea of a treat on a summer afternoon too - it doesn't get very hot here in the summer, and tea is an all year round beverage for sure!
