The CAS Fall DT search is on, and it's not too late to play! Two themed cards must be uploaded by noon ET tomorrow 8/24. Go to the CAS challenge thread for more details. For the second challenge, Denise asked us to use 3 of our favorite things.
My favoritest thing of all right now is crackle paint. I love the weathered texture that it gives a project. Painted cream CS with Antique Linen CP last night and let it dry. My favorite images are Flourishes, so I stamped my birth-month flower from Botanical Bookplates 2 in Tuxedo Black on the crackle panel. Colored this with Copics and a white gel pen (the alcohol ink bleeds a bit on the paint, so I had to touch up my Lilies of the Valley after using them). Matted with Garden Green. I love EFs, and this Tim Holtz one in particular. Inked lightly with Memento Desert Sand and embossed a white Flourishes card. Stamped the sentiment in Versamark and black and heat embossed with clear EP. Arranged all to evoke artwork displayed in a loft.
Thanks for the cool challenge, Denise. Thank you all for looking and have a peaceful day.
