I made this card for my sweetie pie grandddaughter. She is adopted from China, and tomorrow is "Gottcha Day". It's a day we celebrate as that is the day my DD and her husband got her in China. "Gottcha Day" is the term all adoptive parents of Chinese children use and I believe it is the term they use in China. So we celebrate the day we became a family. For this sketch, I flipped it and I didn't mat the sentiment, which by the way is "I love you" in Chinese!! I blinged up my little girl with stickles and rhinestones. TFL!! And HAPPY GOTCHA DAY!!!!!

Oh, how exciting. Our "Gotcha Day" was 24 years ago on August 18 - so very similar dates. However, our son is from Korea. Blessings to you and your family. Enjoy the time, as it will fly by Love your card - BTW!

This is such a sweet card, and I love that you shared that story about your grand daughter. I learned something new, as I had never heard of "gotcha" day! They will just love this card.
