I just moved for the third time in less than two and a half years, twice just in the last five months. That is why I've been MIA from posting. It's good to stamp again. I'm a little frustrated, I'm missing some tools. Like my paper cutter. What????? Where could it be????
Anyway, here is my inspiration from yesterday:http://www.leifshop.com/products/pai...p-table-runner
and this is the card I cased: Creative CASE by mamamostamps at Splitcoaststampers
The table runner was so cool (I love literal art stuff) and I chose Maureen's card because I liked the strips of paper as the focal point. I could only fit on four instead of five, like hers, and I didn't center my sentiment. My take is more edgy and modern. Maureen, I love your gallery; the simplicity of your designs is so refreshing. It's good to be back.

No! No paper cutter....oh, the torture you endure! Lol! So glad to see you back, and hope you can put down some roots, and find all your supplies. (Dang, that has to be maddening....) beautiful, fresh and fun case!

Great card! Hope you find the rest of your tools! I understand about moving often. My DH was on active duty with the Army for over 28 years. We moved 4 times in 4 years!!!! TFS

Well, it's great to have you back and settled - gosh, hope you come across that paper cutter soon, I'd be lost without mine! Love your take on this card, especially with the paint strips - fabulous!

I still haven't found my teflon bone folders from my studio move, so I feel your pain ... so glad you found some time to create ... I adore what you did with those paint samples ... awesome inspired card.
