Congratulations to our latest featured stamper
Maureen Merritt (mamamostamps) and to our newly crowned queen Marie-Alice (ladybug91743)
Both of these ladies have galleries full of beautiful works of art. Here is the card of Maureen's that inspired me Thank you note 2 and this card of Maries Poppies in Frame
I loved the simplicity of Maureen's lovely CAS card, the sweet little blue flowers, colours, layout and twine. I loved the beautiful framed poppies and design of Marie's.
Enjoy your time in the spotlight ladies, you both deserve it.
I created the embossed/sponged pillow top background. Coloured the poppies with Tombow markers. Added the fence and ribbon embellishment.
Hugs Pat

Beautiful card that honors both Maureen and Marie-Alice. Wonderful tribute to both fabulous stampers. Love the pillow-block background - the sponging adds such depth and the color is the perfect backdrop for your gorgeous poppies. Great job!

Bridget hit the nail on the head w/ her comment about 2 beautiful cards combined to make your own!! This is gorgeous. I 'practiced' doing that pillow top b/g but it didn't look good and it became something else!! You've inspired me to try again. It has such a soft look. Love this.

Love the pillow background - it is very dimensional. Love these colors together too. It is one of my favorite things to combine two inspiration pieces to create a third. You've done it beautifully!
