This week's TSC was to create something that gave us joy and pleasure from our childhood. I enjoyed so many different things from all water sports, baseball, shooting marbles, bycing, rollerskating, movies and so much more. As I pondered what I could make I remembered one thing I did then and still do now and enjoy just as much if not more and that is reading. Most of you know that a great deal of my time is being a care giver for my Mom. I assist the Activities Director by doing arts and craft workshops at my Mom's Assisted Living facility. When I saw this project on Splitcoast and Pinterest I thought it would be perfect to teach in one of these workshops. So for my entry to this week's TSC, I present a bookmark made using paint chip card made by my Mom. She asks me each day when I see her, am I still using the bookmark she made for me? My reply, always till the day I die Momma.

Oooohhhh, Tater, you made my eyes leak!!! What a delightful thing to share with the residents and at the same time, make a memory with your Momma!!
I love this idea, and I am so glad you shared this wonderful memory with all of us - AND you did an excellent job teaching - this bookmark is amazingly beautiful - tell your Momma how much we all liked it!! Bet they were all thrilled to make it as you were to teach them how to!! HUGS!

It is so sweet that she made this for you and you taught the rest how to as well. That bookmarks will see many lovely pages...:0). Oh Tater how precious this is. This is something you will always treasure. I love that your Mom made it for her little girl. Please tell her how we all loved it. Hey have you brainwashed her? Cuz I don't see no Tater pink anywhere!!
