Don't you just love these Christmas Baubles? They are designed by LilyPink Designs - that girl is sooo talented. This set she designed is super cheap and comes with the ornaments all together and seperate so there are actually a ton of images at the regular digi price (shhhh - don't tell Michelle or Dawn about this - they may want to raise the price). This card is for the latest challenge at Can You Digi It? which is called Purple Please. I am excited about this one because they let me pick the challenge theme and all the inspiration photos! If you want to see the photos or check out the challenge here is the link:
The papers on this are digi papers designed by StripedElephants and she is super talented as well. I layered the papers on my computer so I didn't have to do any manual layering or cutting. I then masked the green paper strip and sponged around it so it would look like I manually layered it - how cool is that! I am having so much fun with digi papers - why was I afraid of them before?
I am doing an online workshop called CopicMe so I can learn more about coloring. I have only finished lesson one, but I can tell a difference! I cheated and skimmed some of the other lessons and found out you can use Copics on other materials so I colored the Sparklets at the bottom with one of the Copic Markers I was using and it colored perfectly (you can get Sparklets at Can You Digi It? which is where my image and papers came from too).
I am hoping some of you will participate in the challenge! I would love to see what you can do with purple or if you hate purple you can just be inspired by one of the pictures (there are some cool shoes, boats, butterflies. food - who couldn't be inspired by those things?). You don't have to use a CYDI? image so drag out your purples or shoe images or butterflies or.....
Update on my home related projects: they put down 1/5 of the tile yesterday so it looks like this is going to take longer than I thought - sniff, sniff, snifff .... but DH finished painting the bathroom walls and hung up the shelves in my craft room - I can see progress so I am sooo excited.
Hugz to all!

This is gorgeous. I love these beautiful ornaments. You have to tell me all about those lessons. I have been trying to find some lessons too. I took some last year, but I feel I didn't learn much...lol

WOW, when you digi it, you digi it good sis! I LOVE your array of digital ornaments and the way you made the layers. Yep, I see some copics techniques in there too girlfriend. I took the beginner's class with Audzi awhile back, but haven't gotten back to them lately. I don't have a wide range of colors, so it's limited and can't afford any more right now. You did a spectacular job on this.
