CT0812 - AugustÂ’s CENTRAL THEME: In the Neighborhood
Be inspired by something in your own neighborhood
The things I notice when walking the dog are the; flora, fauna and insects.
Everyday I am attacked by some kind of flying insect. I see bees, dragonflies, ladybugs, hummingbirds, and more. IÂ’m starting with those I have stamps for. I have not actually seen a hanging ornate birdcage such as the one on my card but my across the drive neighbor has a beautiful Dovecote (on a post for smaller birds) with ivy growing nicely on it. It does not house doves or pigeons thankfully.
I used a TCW TheCraftersWorkshop 6x6 Template to sponge the tree branches and birdcage.
This is my final month on the Dirty Dozen Design Team and IÂ’ve had a blast!

I love the little peek into your neighborhood, Angela!! Hearing the buzz of the insects and birdsong along your walk must be as beautiful as this card!!

What a fantastic template! The branches, leaves and little birdies are all so pretty! I LOVE that you used a blue pearl to dot the "i" in birthday! Your ribbon and border punch look so lovely too! Love it all!
