I have been unable to share this sample until today. It was the main project of my Workshop WOW presentation at Portland Regionals, back in October 05.
It features the faux stitching technique with the Crafter's Tool Kit and the Uniball White Gel Pen.
For those of you unfamiliar with the technique, you simply use the hole piercing guide template, the piercing mat, and the piercing tool, to pierce holes into the paper where desired. Then, simply connect the holes with the Uniball Gel Pen.
This design features a little surprise inside, and if you refer to Faux Stitched Purse 2, you'll see the interior of this design. A self-adhesive velcro dot keeps the flap closed proper.
Please do not transmit this template electronically, but instead, refer those interested to the DRL forums and the SUB.
If you upload your version of this project, please include the following information in your description: The instructions and template for this project are available to demonstrators in the Demonstrator Resource Library, located here: Forums at Splitcoaststampers Thank you so much!
For some reason, my fascination with purse cards seems never-ending! chuckle! I really enjoyed developing this project for that event, and am pleased I can finally share it with you all now.
