For this weeks CAS challenge, we were given a sketch by Tenia Sanders-Nelson. I have already seen so MANY takes on this CAS sketch!
For the TLC challenge, Joan asked us to try Bev's water stamping technique. I saw this the other day and had been wanting to try it! So this was a nice surprise!
For the water stamping I used Tim Holtz Ranger distress inks. Then used my big La Blanche stamp (after getting it wet). I was happily surprised at how well this works! YAY!
Then, I followed the sketch to finish my card. Thanks for two wonderful challenges and thank you for taking a peek!!!

The colors on this are wonderful....I love this combo of green and yellow..and everything outlined in black really makes your image and the bg stand out! That sentiment is perfect especially for difficult situations when you're not sure what to say....Lovely card Kathleen!

Love the colors you've used for this card, Kathleen. The water stamping turned out fantastically. The black really draws attention to your beautiful image and water stamped background.
