Today's Featured Stamper is Jean Cross (a/k/a naturecoastcrafter), a fellow Floridian! Jean and I keep saying we're going to meet up at StampFest again, but the Fates seem not to want that to happen. One of these times!!! I CASEd this CAS beauty, not only because it's a pretty card, but also because Jean made it for a TLC challenge that I had missed. Not having a wide enough roll of masking tape for it, I used some duct tape -- which actually gave a very nice texture to the strip of color. This card is also a sneak peek at a soon-to-be-released set from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company, called Tree Selections, which will be available on Tuesday. The sentiment is also from a new set -- called Celebrate Big.
My changes (besides the duct tape part) are:
* Different stamps
* Different color
* Moved the sentiment outside the color strip

Lois, you have taken that masking technique to a much higher level. The duct tape makes a wonderful background! I'm so impressed that you were able to detackify it enough to get it to work. I'm a-gonna give it a go! To have you here honoring me today with this and your kind comments give me goosebumps, old friend!
