I just noticed: The geometric Shapes Tracer that I used to make all these hexagons is dated 1976. I used it, plenty, back then to prepare math materials for fourth graders. It's been deep in my files for a while. Works perfectly.
I certainly got lots of practice blending with my copics... The colors, irl, are warm gray, brown, beige, and burgundy. My camera doesn't support color accurately. It's relatively new. Doesn't work properly.
ironic.

Those colours are wonderful - with the addition of green they are just the colours I want to use IF I ever get round to that tumbling blocks quilt I've been dreaming of for years.
Have you tried adjusting the colour balance setting on your camera? It's amazing what a difference that can make. Although some colours, and red in particular, do seem to be hard to get right no matter what!
